PageMod is installed!

One last step: turn on "Allow user scripts" so every PageMod feature can run.

Step 1: turn on "Allow user scripts"

Open extension management

Click browser "Extensions" → "Manage extensions", or visit chrome://extensions

Find the PageMod extension

On PC click "Details"; on mobile tap the menu on the right.

Turn on "Allow user scripts"

Find the "Allow user scripts" toggle and turn it on. (On older browsers, enable "Developer mode" in extension management.)

The check runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Step 2: create your first script

Option A: click the floating icon on a page

Open any web page and click the PageMod floating icon, then describe what you want in one sentence (for example "hide the ads on this page"). The AI writes the script and previews it on the spot.

Option B: open the panel from the extension

Click the PageMod icon in your browser toolbar, then choose "AI script" (or "AI app" for a web app) to chat with the AI in the side panel, edit and save the result.

Step 3: explore the tutorial and markets

Build your first script in the tutorial Playground with a single sentence, or install something ready-made from the Script Market and App Market.
